About Me

Laura Henry MS CCC-SLP

My name is Laura Henry and I am a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and the owner of Speech with Ease LLC. I am an independent clinician and small staffing agency all in one, that contracts with schools in need, as well as provides play-based therapy to children in their environment. I supply speech and language services that include screening, evaluation, supervision, direct treatment, and case management. I am honored to be a small business looking to make connections with school districts and private clients in need of support! My business is currently accepting new contracts and new patients.

Experience & Licensure

I hold my American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), as well as licensure in the states of Pennsylvania, Indiana, and North Carolina. I also hold my Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Instructional I certification. 

I have experience working with students/clients/patients from birth-geriatrics in many settings, including public schools, private schools, preschools, private clinics, daycares, home health, and inpatient rehab. My areas of experience include articulation, language, fluency, social/pragmatics, autism, auditory processing, feeding/swallowing, voice, cognitive/memory, Aphasia, and Apraxia.

Masters of Science 
Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania 

I completed my Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. During that time I completed over 400 supervised clinical hours, including experience in the school, clinic, and rehab hospital settings. 

Bachelors of Science 
Bloomsburg University of 
Pennsylvania

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Communication Science Disorders from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. During my undergraduate time I was involved with the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA), TimeSlips, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Club.
